 I have a lifelong love of animals and have volunteered with animal rescues since the late 90's with Second Chance Companions.  Currently I volunteer with Charlies's Little Dog House, a small local dog rescue in Vancouver operating a foster home and rescuing dogs from Mexico and high kill shelters in California and saves these wonderful dogs in association with the START animal transportation rescue team.

While my main day job and background is in a people day spa as a Master Esthetician, I have always had a knack for pampering pets as well. Many of the tasks I volunteer my time with Charlie's Little Dog House includes website hosting, online listings and more. In addition, I have been bathing the dogs which gave me the idea to train and open my own dog grooming business on my property where I have an separate shop on my acre of land right in Vancouver. My existing utility room was easily changed into a dedicated grooming salon. My little city farm is a loving home to 2 goats, 6 chickens, and 2 bunnies all living free range in safely fenced sections. I share my home with a cat, Batman, and my 3 Dogs, Herbie, Mia, and Frosty. With no spouse and no kids my furbabies are my little  loves of my life.
